Kavakl\u0131dere House reinterprets dwelling for its user in a district that shifted from vineyards and poplar fields to dense concrete blocks. The project reintroduces natural rhythm through permeability, using layered buffers that filter light, views, and movement from street to home. A terrarium and 3D-printer workshop is placed in the center which emphasizes the importance of production for the user and creates a double-height space. Spaces graduate from semi-private activity zones to intimate rooms through gradual transitional zones. Request of material temperature contrasts throughout the design is applied both in an abstract way with the interpenetration of spatial qualities and material choices of timber and concrete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
