In our design, we have two masses, and we articulated these masses according to the site. The number of floors on the south fa\u00e7ade was initially the same as the north, with four floors. However, due to the problem of the apartments on the north fa\u00e7ade not receiving enough light, we reduced the south fa\u00e7ade to two floors and tried to leave voids on the upper floor of the north wing\u2019s front fa\u00e7ade, so that the first two floors could benefit from daylight in the best way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The balconies on our south fa\u00e7ade were designed as open, while on the north fa\u00e7ade we applied a loggia design. We added this as a second layer to provide some insulation against the extremely cold conditions that may occur on the north fa\u00e7ade during winter months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fa\u00e7ade of the gallery facing south was designed with perforated walls to create a semi-private area. With its sun-shading feature, the gallery area receives controlled light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our podium floor, the atriums continue along the first elevation line, and one atrium takes the surrounding road as a reference. As we approach the edges of the site, green areas increase, and the use becomes more public and free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The roof on the south wing will be used for growsing greenery and has a system that can be closed on extremely cold days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
